Our programs are developed in the most vulnerable zones with the highest poverty indicators as well as in cities with high concentrations of displaced populations and in urban slum areas.
Our programs in general have a national reach and the projects along the Northern and Southern borders as well as in the Amazon area are part of our Country Strategic Plan (CSP), which follows Save the Children’s global initiatives and the “Buen Vivir” National Plan. Our programs are focused on: Protection, Good Governance, Education, Health and Humanitarian Assistance. All of our initiatives aim to influence public and private entities and the society in general to become agents of change and help guarantee children’s rights in Ecuador.
Our projects are in the provinces of Pichincha, Guayas, El Oro, Esmeraldas, Sucumbíos, Zamora Chinchipe, Canar, Azuay, Bolivar, Manabi, Tungurahua and Cotopaxi. We have two field offices, one in Esmeraldas and another in Guayas, our main office is located in Quito.
